I don’t back Kickstarters.
But when I saw the email from Ryan Kulp about TRMNL, I was in.
I love dashboards and metrics.
For years, I had a TV mounted on my office wall with a Google Looker dashboard on it of key metrics for the business.
It was awesome.
What is TRMNL?
It’s a screen that sits on your desk. It’s not interactive but looks like a tablet. You can customize what’s on the screen from website analytics integrations to Shopify sales to Robinhood portfolio.
My computer is chock full of windows. And don’t get me started on may browser tabs.
TRMNL gives you control over what you always want to keep an eye on.
And it’s customizable. Grab a developer account to create your own integration. (Looking forward to exploring this down the road.)
Why I’m excited about TRMNL?
I took my wall TV down last year. And I’ve been missing having one screen always surfacing key metrics.
Can’t improve what’s not measured, right?
Campaign
It’s approximately two months into the campaign and the team has sent 5 updates. I’m impressed with the communication frequency. And the updates have done a great deal building hype.
So far the campaign has raised (pledged) $157,677 on a $5,000 goal. Not bad.
