I’m finally sharing my favorite debit card trick.
If you’re like me, you’ve received multiple prepaid debit cards as holiday presents. Which is great! But it’s nearly impossible for your purchase to use the entire amount on the card. It always seems like you’re left with $5 or $10.
Most online stores do not allow you to complete a purchase using multiple forms of payment. You can in a physical store but who shops like that anymore. Kidding! ;)
Use the remaining amounts on your prepaid debit cards to refill your Amazon gift card balance. It’s also a great way to combine all of your prepaid debit cards if you don’t plan on shopping elsewhere than Amazon.
Follow the simple steps below
Step 1: Log into your Amazon account then click here to reload your Amazon gift card.
Step 2: Enter the amount left on your gift card, down to the cent. Leave no money behind. Click the “Buy Now” button to go to the next page.
The amount just has to be above $0.50.
Step 3: Enter the prepaid debit card details as the payment method. Click the “Continue” button to process the payment.
Step 4: Amazon will take you to a confirmation page showing the amount applied to your Amazon gift card.
Step 5: Next time you purchase something in Amazon, select the gift card balance under “Your available balance” on the payment details screen.
